About Rotec International LLC
Rotec Enterprises,
Inc. was founded by Mr. Robert A. Thommen, II in 1985
and is
located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In conjunction with Caltrans,
Cal Poly and the University of the Pacific, Mr. Thommen spearheaded
the first field testing pertaining to rockfall and debris flow
systems in the United States and established new product lines and
industry.
Working in close
collaboration with an International group based in Switzerland which
is engaged for many years in the design and testing of natural
disaster protection installations, Rotec International provides
"Environmental Hazard Mitigation" as well as other related safety
systems which are geared for the United States and Canadian market.
Rotec's safety products protect some of the most critical facilities
such as highways, railways, mines, electrical power plants and other
populated areas where rockfall, debris flows and avalanches may
occur.
We promote an entrepreneurial culture with a "can do" attitude.
We support you in the consultation and monitoring of each project
from beginning to end and will provide you with a cost efficient,
low maintenance, environmentally pleasing solution.
