rockfall and debris flows to jeopardize life and property.
Rotec offers engineered systems designed to dissipate and stop the
kinetic energies of random rockfall. These systems are
durable, easy to install and environmentally friendly. Due to
their improved impact and fatigue characteristics, each is able to
withstand the abuse of field conditions.
Woven Net System - Our durable,
non-deforming, corrosion resistant woven nets combine high
performance, flexible wire ropes with our "Double Grip" net binding
clips. The most popular in today's market, these "hand
crafted" net systems come in many different sizes and can be
fabricated using galvanized, stainless and/or colored coated wire
rope.
Ring Net System - Fabricated from
high strength, zinc coated, spring steel strands and/or made from
elastic wire ropes. This system assures a high degree of
durability with minimal or no wire breakage or deformation of
individual rings during rock impact.
Rockfall Monitoring Alarm System -
Our rockfall retaining fences, can be supplied with a monitoring
alarm system. This optional device, instantly informs users
when the system is being impacted by more than heavy rockfall.
It is recommended for use in conjunction with fences that are
installed in heavily traveled roads and other critical locations.
